We add coconut milk to make dough for Mullu Murukku. Also we use green gram (moong) dhal instead of urad dhall.

I belong belong to Alavanthipuram and my parents are still there. We belong to chinna pannai (Sama and Nagarajan family).

You have a very good collection of recipes here.
I tried the brinjal chutney today.
It was really good.
I had to use the oven to cook the brinjals.
I have never had brinjal chutney before.
I liked the touch of cinnamon in the seasoning.
